Live Shooting

Facebook now has live recording. A man was on live, 14 minutes, but 6 minutes into the recording gun shots were fired. The man was hanging with his friends, drinking. The man died at the scene. Im not the one to place blame but things like this could've been prevent if 'you use your hat for more than a hat rack". Drinking should be done in places that isn't safe for you not just from being shoot but also from doing things that would harm others. That doesn't justify the shooter. Gang related active is hard to regulate because you can't control how gangs are ran. It also isn't illegal to be apart of a gang. It really comes down to the government and the gun laws to fix these because the community isn't the only thing that will help. Things are done through education, leadership and laws. 

Lake Shore Shooting

A 15 year old was killed in a shooting on Lake Shore. A black Nissan pulled up and fired cause multiple gun wounds to her body and gazing a man head while shooting his arm. The man that was in the car was a gang member and convicted felon. Kids shouldn't have to be dragged into their parents problem. If one problems that could possible put your child in endanger, just leave. Things like this happen, trying to be a savage and prove yourself could cost a child life. One's pride should never come before someone's life. It goes both ways, one shouldn't endanger another person's child. Kids have to live with the mistakes their parents made which are reason why some kids are gang members. It comes down to making good decisions not just for you but your family as well. Anything one does with life ,good or bad, effects your family. Jail: no longer have a mother/father. Died: the feeling of emptiness. Billionaire: no more worries about money. Everything one do effects someone. Just stop the violence.

Not Only In Chicago.

Davonte Washington was killed for looking at Maurice Bellamy, who was later arrested and charged with second degree murder. Things aren't only bad in Chicago but in DC as well, this is a worldwide problem. The difference is people are actually getting put in jail/prison for their mistakes. Chicago needs to understand that gun violence is a real problem and it needs better regulation. Now, getting shoot for looking at someone is strange yet very confusing. One would never think that a looks could kill, literally. The thought that you must be aware of who you look at because you never know who has a gun on them is very scary. One must be real cautious at all time because nowadays shooting is done just for fun. I know it is a right to bare arm but not all can bare arm because things like this happen. If everyone is allow to be armed at all times defeats the purpose of having regulations for it because the excuse of 'my life was endangered' would be over used. Not only that but a gun gives people a feeling of power and authority over one and we all know that feeling never goes well. Davonte is jut one example of the government failure to try to fix the problems one face in there community. It seems like the day will come we are allowed to purge. If this continue this might just be a fear we have to live with.

Stupid Mistake

Let take a moment of prayer from DeKayla family. DeKayla ,15 year old, was stabbed in the chest by a 13 year old girl. The mother gave the 13 year old a knife. The two girls were originally fighting but she stabbed her when she begin at lose. The disappointing part, they were fighting over a boy. The crazy part is her mother GAVE her the knife. Parents are what seem to be the problem now. These parents are young and thinking they can be friends with their kids and that shouldn't be the case. If you choose to fight ,that's not good but thats better than guns, that's fine but using weapons isn't cool. Parents aren't parents anymore they're friend. Kids and parents can't coexist like that for this exact reason. Her mother was wrong for even allowing her to fight over a boy and on top of that you shouldn't allow her to fight. If your aren't going to parent a child don't have kids or try to raise them if you aren't going to raise them right. It's bad enough we losing kids everyday to stupid things. Parents need to man up because if all think like DeKayla attacker mother than our future will no longer exist. Let talk to the parents before attempt to change the child cause what you do in public is what you are allowed to do at home. The violence really needs to stop. 

Mother's Day Weekend

Over Mother's Day weekend their about 51 people shot and just by May there has been at least 1225 people in Chicago. Chicago is the most dangerous city in the United States. One mother woke up without a son. Nathan Hicks had multiple gun shoot wounds to the chest and was pronounced died at the hospital. Wow, a day that is given to you for your children to acknowledge your greatness and on that same day you lose your son. This isn't just about Nathan but every child/adult that was shot and killed that weekend. The only thing than can be said is, Chicago needs to try harder because at the rate we're going there will be no next generation after this one. We aren't fighting this battle the right way. We can't protest just against white people but our people as well. This killing rate is unspeakable and it won't get better if we don't build in our communities first than more outward. Chicago needs to grown up and put the guns down. 

This Generation

In Delaware, this 16 year old girl, Amy, was killed in school because she was jumped on by a group of girls. The girls were fighting over a boy. Amy didn't die from a few punches but from hitting her head on the sink. This isn't the normal gun violence that's on this blog but this is an example of how we get to gun violence. Little things like this triggers people to say I'm giving revenge even if they kill others along the way. The child daycare, Martel Anderson, Dontay Parker and many more. Those kids were all killed because gang related activity. The girls who killed Amy might (not saying it will happen *knock on wood*) be hunted down and killed. Girls don't know the moral of life anymore and boys have just completely lost it. As parents you can't allow your children to believe that boy/girl, hanging out, drinking and smoking if life. We have to go back to when parents were on kids' tail about everything and than maybe you could hangout afterwards. Kids nowadays walk over their parents like their parents are their friends that provide for them and that's not how things need to be. This is probably said a lot on this blog, the root of the problem is kids do what they want at home. There's as saying, you act out at home than you act out in public. That's a habit that needs to be broken. This generation of kids  needs to get a better understanding of life because what they are doing now isn't what life is about. 

Listening Is Key

Pierre Loury was shot and killed on April 11th. He shot by an Officer because of the way his car looked. The officer assumed it was the car that was apart of an earlier shooting that day. He got out the car ran to jump over a fence but was shot in the attempt. Keep in mind he is 16 in the car alone, illegal. The problem this time is listen. If he was to stop the car during the car chase he wouldn't be dead. Black parents fail to see both sides of the story when it comes to officers. Most young be die because they feel as if they don't have to listen to the authority. Pierre wouldn't have ran from the officer if he felt innocent but clearly he had something or done something that was going to get him arrested. As an African American, male mostly, you should listen to authority because the world we live in is already racist and you being disobedient gives them a better reason to fire at you. Following instructions are will lower the death of young black boys but this has to be sit in place at home as well.  So from now on we LISTEN to authority even if you haven't done anything.
